Bathukamma, the botanical festival of Telangana went worldwide on Saturday as the world’s tallest structure Burj Khalifa was illuminated in colors portraying the festival.

The visual gala was credited to the endeavors of Nizamabad MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha who drove Telangana Jagruthi to exhibit the states’ Bathukamma culture and take the festival festivities worldwide by including its portrayal on the universes’ biggest screen.

Ms Kavitha, who is the previous Member of Parliament and daughter of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, drives Telangana Jagruthi, a social and scholarly association that was shaped during the statehood development for Telangana in India and has been attempting to protect and praise the social legacy of Telangana.
